the way for surviving in newspaper industry, especially in korea

I planned on reading a worldwide economic newspaper like Wall Street Journal, Financial Times. It's definitely important to know what is happening in the world in terms of economy. That was my reason to do that.

But as soon as I looked at such sites, I was failed to achieve my plan. They have very limited articles allowed for people to read. If I want to read, I have to subscribe and pay a little bit of money.

As for FT, I am allowed to read 10 articles for 30 days.
AS for WSJ, many of articles are for subscribers.

Actually, I am not supposed to complain of this issues because newspaper companies were in trouble to sustain their companies. That's because people could read any news from the internet and was FREE.

Why I was surprised was because most of companies in Korea are not yet using those kind of revenue system. We can still read any news in free on the internet. I can see what is going to happen in newspaper companies in the near future.

There are a few options they can adopt like I mentioned above that FT and WSJ are using. I hope most companeis would use the same way of WSJ. FT is much more restrict regulation for readers.
